I Can't Believe How Many I have Owned!
I was just thinking about one of my (previously owned) cars the other day. Then, I started remeniscing about some others also. Well, to tell you the truth, I could not remember all the cars I have owned over the last 36 years, so I decided to list them. What better place to do that than right here, in a hub.
The image of the Caddy, (above), is of my current vehicle. It is shown here without the signage on it. (My business).
I will try my best to put them in chronoligical order, but it doesn't matter if I don't. I will try to hunt up pictures of (or similar to) some of them. There would not be enough space to do the lot.
I want to make it clear right from the outset, I am not a collector, nor am I "rich". These were all cars that I owned for various periods of time, sold or traded them, and purchased another one. Some were bought for a project, that was supposed to make me some money, others, simply to drive. And, this is for real. I really did own these cars. (Just in case you are tempted to think I am making it up for the sake of an interesting? hub)
I restored a few to their former glory. Some were not worth it. In just about all cases though I did add some accessories, to enhance appearence, comfort, performance etc.
Some of the things that were done wereas below. This is by no means an exhaustive list.
- WHEELS (alloy or chrome)
- CUSTOM PAINT
- TRIM (custom)
- STRIPING (and/or graphics)
In most cases, it worked well. In some, "what was I thinking?"
Mini Burnout

My goodness! Pushing 40. I have come to the realisation, or expectation that I may not want to reach that number. It's insane! . I have to say though, this list is incomplete, because I am still alive, and will probably keep changing as opportunities arise. Below I have added some models that are similar to the ones on the list. I no longer have pictures of the originals.
Tell us about you.
How many have owned (to date)?
See results without votingOh, I See
I just checked the survey/poll stats, and it seems there are three pretty even groups. Two of them don't surprise me, but the third does. There are 29% voters who have outdone me! WELL DONE!
I hope these are genuine, individuals! A car dealer who stocks cars would not count! That would not be fair. Neither for that matter would a fleet owner. But, I can't complain if some are, since I never stipulated that at the outset.
Thanks everyone for voting. Current readers, please continue to vote.
It doen't mean anything, it's just for fun!
Mazda Bongo
VL Commodore
Datsun 1200 ute
FORD XB panel van
Holden Gemini Panel van
